A STEM-Inspired Play Space for Curious Kids

Stemville was built on a simple belief: kids learn best through play. We created a space where children can explore and discover freely, while building confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills that last.

What can kids do at Stemville?

Imagine

Generating new ideas from the world around us is a foundational skill for healthy, active brains. Stemville offers a variety of stations that get kids to use their imaginations through creative STEM activities.

Explore

At Stemville, we believe the best discoveries happen when kids are free to follow their curiosity. Our play stations are designed to invite children to explore the world around them, ask questions and test theories through hands-on play.

Design

Kids practice engineering and design through hands-on STEM building, creating marble runs, towers, and mini cityscapes as they grow confidence.

Create

Bringing ideas to life is one of the most rewarding parts of play. Our stations provide the tools and inspiration for kids to express themselves and take pride in their original creations.

Our Story

Stemville was created by two moms who believe curiosity is a superpower. After thriving in their professional careers, Andreea and Kristin both chose to dedicate the early years of motherhood to being home with their kids.

As moms, they wanted a place they could go where their kids could play and engage in self-directed learning, but they couldn’t find anything like that. There were plenty of places for kids to develop physical skills, coordination and athletics, but nowhere for kids to learn the kinds of foundational STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in a way that allowed them to flex those mental muscles. So they built it themselves: a hands-on space where children imagine, explore, design, create, and grow confidence through play.

Built by moms and rooted in community, Stemville supports schools, nonprofits, and parish fundraisers while creating a place where kids can learn through play. Andreea and Kristin are raising eight children, so every detail is designed with real families in mind.

Our team is passionate about hands-on STEM learning. Many of our staff are studying STEM-related fields , including computer science, electrical engineering, nursing, biopsychology, biochemistry – just to name a few.

Giving Back

At STEMville, we are more than a children’s STEM learning center — we are proud members of the Michigan education community. Each year, we dedicate a portion of our profits to supporting local schools, STEM education programs, robotics teams, and community enrichment initiatives throughout Michigan.

Our mission is to expand access to hands-on STEM learning, coding education, robotics programs, and inclusive learning opportunities for children of all abilities.
